Veda Asset Management, LLC is a New York-, London- and Mumbai-based India-dedicated alternative investment management firm founded in 2008 by a small group of partners with significant public and private equity investment experience in India. Veda’s partners include senior managers at various firms like Bear, Stearns & Co.; E.F. Hutton & Co. and Schroeders Venture Group with over 30 years of experience in their industry.

The firm assists accredited investors globally in capitalizing on the multi-generational investment opportunities presented by the growth story of India within its various underlying asset classes.

The firm is committed to preserving and growing capital by producing absolute returns with greatly reduced volatility and correlation to the various Indian Indices and other existing high volatility “long only” retail products.

Our fund is named from the Sanskrit word “Veda” which translates to “Knowledge” or “Wisdom” in English to highlight the Partner’s “Insight” of the market they invest their own and their clients’ assets into.
